Ausiàs Tsel is a writer from the Valencian Country. He writes Mediterranean Gothic in English and Catalan/Valencian, and is the creator of Zenòdot.

Mediterranean Gothic is his name for horror under hard light: institutions that are shelter and cage at once, and a corroded theology in which God is not dead but silent.

His work has appeared in The Rumpus, Pithead Chapel, Neon & Smoke, Flash Fiction Magazine, Dark Horses, Flash Phantoms and miniMAG, and is forthcoming in Chthonic Matter Quarterly. He has translated E. Nesbit's Man-Size in Marble into Catalan/Valencian, as Ben mudats de marbre.

Zenòdot is the largest actively maintained open catalogue of book translations in the world. He has written about why it exists in MIDAS — Eurac Research and LSE Impact Blog.
