Ausiàs Tsel is a Valencian writer working in English and Catalan/Valencian. His fiction operates under the label Mediterranean Gothic: horror under hard light, corroded theology, domestic violence as silence, and the architecture of concealment in Mediterranean societies.
His work has appeared in Pithead Chapel, Neon & Smoke, Dark Horses Magazine, and Flash Phantoms, and is forthcoming in miniMAG and Flash Fiction Magazine.
He is the creator of Zenòdot, a documentary tool for discovering book translations across languages. Zenòdot has been featured in the LSE Impact Blog, Publishers Lunch, and Jane Friedman.
He writes from the Valencian Country.
